Mesquite Lime Chicken Sandwich

 


Grill Mates Mesquite Seasoning delivers true mesquite wood flavor to a marinade for chicken while sweet honey balances the tart lime.

Ingredients Quantities Instructions
fresh lime juice 1/4 cup 1. Mix lime juice, McCormick Grill Mates Mesquite Seasoning, oil and honey in a small bowl.

2. Place chicken in a container and marinade for one to four hours.

3. Grill chicken over medium heat 6-8 minutes per side or until internal temperature of 165 degrees F is reached.

4. Combine chipotle and mayonnaise. Whisk well in a small bowl.

5. Spread one tbsp. of chipotle spread on each piece of bread. Place grilled chicken breast on one side of bread. Place grilled chicken breast on one side of bread. Top with slice of lettuce and two slices of tomato. Place second slice of bread on top and cut in half and serve.

vegetable oil 2 tablespoons
honey 2 tablespoons
6 oz. chicken breasts 1 1/2 pounds
Chile Pepper Chipotle Ground 2 teaspoons
mayonnaise 1/2 cup
sandwich rolls 4 each
lettuce and tomato slices Optional
