Mesquite BBQ Sauce

This sauce is a BBQ boss: it's robust, smoky and subtly sweet, infused with the rich and savory flavors of beef. Our McCormick for Chefs Mesquite BBQ Sauce is featured on our Mesquite BBQ Skirt Steak Quesadilla and must-have menu item.

1/2 cup Beef Stock, (or pan drippings)
3 tbsps Grill Mates ® Mesquite Seasoning
3/4 cup Cattlemen's Original BBQ Sauce
2 tbsps Brown Sugar

Procedure

For the Mesquite BBQ Sauce

In a small pot, heat stock and add Grill Mates Mesquite Seasoning and brown sugar. Whisk until dissolved.
Then, whisk in Cattlemens' Original BBQ Sauce, until fully incorporated.
Hold refrigerated and heat at service.

Chef's Tip!

This recipe makes 6-2 ounce servings. This sauce is ideal for all BBQ beef menu applications from quesadillas and tacos to smoked brisket, meat balls, meatloaf and steaks.
