These sweet and salty, herbaceous, crunchy brussels sprouts are the perfect shareable appetizer for any menu. This recipe features our new Global Blends Za’atar Seasoning.
In the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, add butter, honey and Za'atar. Beat together until ingredients are fully combined.
Service
Set oven to 400°F. For each shareable plate, in a bowl toss 1 pound halved brussels sprouts with 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
Lay seasoned sprouts out on a parchment lined sheet tray. Roast until sprouts are well charred and crispy.
Place hot sprouts in a bowl with 1/2 cup of Za'atar honey butter. Toss until butter has melted and sprouts are well coated. Serve hot.
Chef's Tip!
This dish is delicious and the flavor profile can easily be switched up by altering the seasoning used in the compound butter. Switch the Za'atar for Italian Seasoning, Everything Bagel Seasoning, or whatever your imagination might like!
