Italian Topper | Serves 4
- 1 tbsp McCormick Culinary ® Fennel Seed , crushed
- 1 tsp McCormick Culinary ® Onion, Minced
- 1 tsp McCormick Culinary ® Garlic, Minced
- 1 tsp McCormick Culinary ® Red Pepper, Crushed
- 1 tbsp McCormick Culinary ® Italian Seasoning
- 1 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
Italian Topper 2 | Serves 4
- 1 tbsp McCormick Culinary ® Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Parmesan Cheese , Grated
- 1/4 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- 1 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
Hot Tarragon Topper | Serves 4
- 1 tsp McCormick Culinary ® Pink Peppercorns
- 1 tsp Orange Peel
- 2 tsps McCormick Culinary ® Tarragon Leaves
- 1 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
Sweet Cinnamon Topper | Serves 4
- 1/4 cup Caster Sugar
- 1/4 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
- 1 tsp McCormick Culinary ® Cinnamon, Ground
Using Seasoning Blends as Toppers | Serves 4
- 2 tbsps Seasoning Blend
- 1/4 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
Procedure
- Mix topper ingredients together until evenly distributed. Place in a shallow dish (a 2” third pan works nicely)
- Slack dough out to room temperature. Spritz top of dough with water. If using par-baked breads, keep frozen and spritz with water.
- Gently roll top 2/3 of the dough/par-baked bread in desired topping. Lay out onto parchment lined sheet tray, leaving enough space for proofing.
- Proof and bake as directed. For par-baked breads, bake as directed.
