1. In a heavy bottom pan, over medium-high heat, heat pan drippings and sauté onions stirring frequently to caramelize.
2. Add beans, water, and Cholula Smoky Chipotle Carnitas Seasoning Mix. Bring to a simmer, stirring, until beans are soft and much of the liquid has been absorbed. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
3. Place beans in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth. Hold warm for service or refrigerate for later use.
