Spicy Papaya Pineapple Salsa | McCormick For Chefs®

A bright and tropical salsa gets its heat from Peruvian Ají Amarillo.

Prep | Serves 4
1 cup Papaya, 1/4" dice
1 cup Pineapple, 1/4" dice
1/2 cup Chayote, 1/4" dice
1/4 cup Red Onion, minced
2 tbsps Aji Amarillo Paste
2 tbsps Lime Juice, fresh
1/4 tsp McCormick Culinary ® Cinnamon, Ground
1/4 tsp Salt
2 tbsps Cilantro, chopped

Procedure

In a bowl combine papaya, pineapple, chayote, red onion, Aji Amarillo, lime juice, cinnamon and salt. Mix well until ingredients are evenly distributed.
Hold refrigerated for service. Just prior to serving, fold in cilantro.

Chef's Tip!
